Canoe Bay ESCAPE Village has the following check-in and check-out times and policies.

 

Check-In: 3:00 PM

Check-Out: 11:00 AM

 

Property and Cancellation Policies

For tiny houses reserved through Canoe Bay, a 50% deposit (minimum 1 night) is collected when you reserve, and the cancellation policy is 3 weeks. With more than 3 weeks' notice of cancellation, we'll refund your deposit, less a $50 admin fee. If you must cancel short-term, we'll carry your deposit forward to new dates. If no advance notice of a cancellation is given, no voucher will be issued.

 

For tiny houses reserved through Airbnb, the policies of Airbnb will be enforced. Please review when making a reservation.

 

Terms and Conditions

To protect the natural setting and respect the pristine environment in the village, we do not allow smoking indoors or outdoors. Fire hazard is too great; no open flame (i.e. candles, matches, bonfires, grills, etc.) are allowed on the sites. We also do not allow children* or pets.

 

Parking for 1-2 vehicles is available next to each accommodation site.

 

Rates are per night, not including 5.5% sales tax.  

 

For tiny houses listed on Airbnb, there is an additional housekeeping fee which covers a one-time cleaning after departure. We do not offer housekeeping services for units listed on Airbnb during the stay.

 

Your ESCAPE tiny house can comfortably accommodate two adults in a one bedroom and four adults in a two bedroom. Each tiny house has a microwave, fridge/freezer combo, large sink, Keurig machine with K-cups (regular & decaf), silverware, plates and glasses, flat screen TV with BluRay DVD player, linens and towels. **NOTE: some units are equipped with stovetops and ovens, please know these appliances are for the personal use of the unit's owner, but will not be available for guest use.

 

FOOD During Your Stay - The Village does not offer food at this time, however, if you reserve an Escape tiny house through Canoe Bay's website, a continental breakfast is delivered to your door and included with your room rate. If you reserve a tiny house through Airbnb and you'd like to order room service breakfast or lunch from Canoe Bay, you may make arrangements for that at check-in. Continental breakfast is not included in the Airbnb rate. Please note there are scheduled delivery times for this meal, so please do give a heads-up if you're interested!  Each evening (Thursday thru Monday) Canoe Bay Chefs prepare a price-fixed Three-Course Dinner Menu showcasing fresh, local organic ingredients. If you're looking to enjoy Canoe Bay's beautiful lake view Dining Room and its delicious Midwestern cuisine, please inquire at Reception about reservation availability. Dinner is priced at $85/person (plus 20% service charge, in lieu of gratutity, and 5.5% Wisc. sales tax). Dining Room dress is Smart Casual ~ No shorts, athletic wear, faded or torn jeans, hoodies  or flip flops at Canoe Bay’s Restaurant.  If you'd like to dine in the local area, we provide recommendations for bar & grill places in the Guest Directory, which is located in your accommodation.

 

ACCESS to Canoe Bay

All guests who reserve a tiny house (Premiere King Lakefront or Premiere Queen Lakefront) through Canoe Bay's website have access to the resort's facilities and services. Canoe Bay® is 300 very private acres of beautiful hardwood forest and three spring-fed, glacially carved lakes—perfect for everything from romantic holidays to wilderness getaways.

 

For guests who reserve a tiny house through Airbnb, Canoe Bay Resort is a separate property, and though you check-in at Canoe Bay Reception, and drive through the property to enter ESCAPE Village, you do not have access to Canoe Bay's facilities.  We ask that you respect the privacy of Canoe Bay and its guests and DO NOT ENTER the property except when arriving to or departing from the Village via your vehicle. If you would like access to the Canoe Bay facilities - canoes, kayaks, library, DVD collection, fitness center, extra hiking trails, snowshoes - you may pay $100/day fee.  This fee will be collected by Canoe Bay per your request.

 

Noise is kept to a minimal in the Village, as a result no ATV's, snowmobiles or loud parties are permitted on the grounds.

 

*Minimum guest age is 21years.
